Information about Appointments
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are from 8:00 to 5:00 on Monday through Wednesday. Thursdays we are open 8:30 to 5:00 and on Friday from 8:00 to 4:00. To provide patient care after hours, one of our physicians is on call 24 hours a day to handle emergencies and deliveries. Our answering service will notify one of our nurses or physicians if you have a problem that cannot wait until office hours. If you have an emergency that cannot wait for a telephone call, go immediately to the nearest hospital ER.
Where are you located?
We have two locations. Please visit our Locations page to get more detailed information. We are affiliated with WakeMed
Are you accepting new Patients?
Our practice accepts new patients for both gynecologic and obstetric care. For details about which providers would be available to see you, please call us at 781-6200.
How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?
It is a good idea to schedule a yearly “well woman” exam at least two months in advance, although we frequently are able to accommodate patients in less time.
The first appointment you have for a pregnancy is determined by how far along you are. Please call as soon as you find out that you are pregnant.
We also reserve space on our schedules for emergencies and problem check appointments. We are often able to see patients the same day if they are having a problem.
What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
All patients need to bring picture identification and their insurance card. If you are a new patient, please go to the Patient Documents page to obtain the paperwork that we will need from you.
New patients can also have their medical records from their previous physician faxed or mailed to us before their first appointment.
Insurance and Billing
What insurance companies are you contracted with?
We accept many insurance plans and our office can let you know which insurance companies we are currently contracted with. Please call your insurance company for up to date information on our practice’s participation with your specific plan.
If we are not contracted with your insurance plan, it is our office's policy that payment is due at the time the services are performed. You will be given an encounter form so that you may file a claim for reimbursement. Exceptions to this policy will be made in the event of office surgical procedures, surgeries performed in the hospital, and maternity care. In these cases, we will submit your claims on your behalf, even if we do not have a contract with your insurance company. For a more comprehensive explanation, please print out our handout on your financial responsibility.
How can I find out more about insurance coverage and billing related issues?
Any specific questions about whether a service our office provides is covered or not, needs to be directed to your insurance company. You can contact your insurance company by using the number listed on the back of your card or by going to their website. We also have handouts that we have created to help answer some questions. You can find these on the Patient Documents page of this site or you can pick one up the next time you come into the office.
What about OB Billing?
Please go to the Patient Documents page and download the two handouts that explain OB Billing in depth.
Test Result Notification
How do I obtain my test results?
To better serve you, our office is now using a phone notification system called Client Tell. This system makes it much easier and less frustrating for patients to get their results. It enables you to access your confidential test results and receive communications from our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After your results are posted, they will be available to you for 45 days and you can access them as much as you need to. You access your test results by calling (866)-785-8064 and using your Chart Number. If there are abnormal findings we will contact you directly and you will not need to use the Client Tell system.
How do I use Client Tell?
The type of test you had done will determine when your results are available. To access your test results, you must first have your chart number. Call the toll free number (866)-785-8064. If you do not have your chart number you can contact our office and request it. You can follow the prompts to review your message or use the information listed below:
